She has worked in Non-profit Administration, Community and Youth Development for the last 8 years. Mary is a crochet artist and entrepreneur. She runs a small business in which she creates custom made accessible/affordable garments in all shapes and sizes. This is done with the body positive belief that clothes should fit our unique shapes and not the other way around. Through her art she showcases BIPOC communities through artist/small business collaboration. She values working in teams and the beauty that comes in a shared vision and collective efforts. Mary runs her own community events organizing team. This team partners with local businesses and creates market/popup events to increase revenue for host sites as well as provide space for small businesses to thrive. She loves working with people, running logistics and creating space for folks to connect/learn from one another and experience joy. In the same way, Mary values and enjoys analyzing organizational structures and logistics. By improving/streamlining operations we create room for abundance and are able to really listen to the people we serve. She operates on the belief that we were all put on this earth to use our unique talents to help others. With all the intersections of her identity, interests and skills Mary is excited to utilize her talents to support the CCP team!
